When I typed The Guillotine into my music programme’s search bar (yes, to me applications are still programmes), Escape the Fate‘s version began playing. But as soon as it ended, another track with the same name started – this time by Jared Hart.
I was immediately struck by his raspy vocals, the raw rock energy, and those punctuating guitar riffs that cut through like a blade. The rest of the EP, named past life regression, hit all the right notes, earning its place in my regular rotation alongside Hart’s other work – some tracks roaring with intensity, others stripped down to acoustic warmth.
