Greetings.
I am Jan. Born in the revolutionary year of 1989, I am based in Esch-Uelzecht—the “capital” of Luxembourg’s Minett region. In this journal—or, for Kubrick’s sake, this blog—I will share my thoughts and experiences as a documentary photographer and, in time, (hopefully) as a photojournalist.
The blog is named Broadsheet—a nod to the traditional broadsheet newspapers of old, where stories were given room to breathe and to unfold in depth. This space is meant to craft a reference for others to draw from and to be a corner for personal reflection.
